I had the chance to be able to give my help, as a volunteer, to the TIES (The International Ecotourism Society) team during the 10th edition of the ecotourism and sustainable tourism ESTC15 conference, in Quito, Ecuador. The event gathered each year, in a different country, professionals, destinations, academics and organisations to engage exchanges around the major challenges and best practices in the sector. The event gathered last april a bit more than 500 attendees coming from about 30 different countries around the globe. I share with you below a little bit of this great experience so rich in learnings and encounters for a responsible tourism!

I helped in particular by taking pictures, twitting during the event and being the intermediary with a few french medias. If you understand a bit of french, I invite to read the articles published:
- Voyageons-Autrement: « Retour sur ESTC15 – Devenez un « éco-touriste »
- Acteurs du Tourisme Durable (ATD): « Retour sur la Conférence Internationale sur l’Écotourisme & le Tourisme Durable à Quito »
I had the chance to accompany D’Arcy Dornan to record the interviews with keyplayers of the Ecuador Ministry of Tourism:
- Sandra Naranjo, Minister of Tourism
- Ana María Romero, Quality Director at the Ministry
I published also a serie of short videos of interviews with about 40 attendees of the conference asking them the two same questions: How do you contribute to sustainable tourism? Why do you attend the ESTC15 conference?
